Puerto Azul Beach Resort
Barangay Sapang

This beach resort is one of the closest to Manila – just about 90 minutes away by road. Apart from a lovely beach set against the background of hills, it has a 9-hole golf course.

Marbella Marina Seaside Resort
Ternate, Cavite

A well maintained public beach resort with elegant rooms and a host of water activities, this resort offers snorkeling and aqua sports. It's about 2 hours from Manila.

Caylabne Bay Resort

Ternate, Cavite

The beach in this classy resort has a Mediterranean ambiance. The lush forests around the resort will make you feel like you're a world away from Manila. Enjoy beach games and a variety of water sports here. One of the finest Manila Beaches to head to if you like a dose of greenery along with sea and sand.

Bataan

In this province, you'll find several wonderful beach resorts. Bagac has the Morning Breeze Beach Resort, a 2-hour drive from Manila, Castle's Beach Resort and the Montemar Beach Club, a refuge for endangered turtles. In Morong, there's the Villa Milagrosa Beach, Gold Coast Beach and Manager's Place Beach Resort.

Bataan also has the Corregidor Island about 48 km from Manila. The island is dotted with beaches such as Searchlight Point, Breakwater Point, Wheeler Point and Geary Point. You can easily get to the island via fast hydrofoil boats that embark from Manila's Roxas Boulevard.

The El Nido Islands

If you like diving and snorkeling, head to the marine sanctuary of El Nido, a group of islands with beautiful soft white sand beaches. It's a 2-hour flight to the islands from Manila.

Paradise Beach

This is a long and generously wide beach great for snorkeling, about 40 minutes by boat from El Nido. The picturesque coral islands of Coron, Busuanga and Culion in this area offer exciting underwater adventures.

White Beach

Boracay Island

The 3-mile long beach on this island is considered as one of the top 10 in the world. Boracay is located in the Visayas about an hour or less by air from Manila. Add to that a 15 to 20 minute boat ride to the island. Here you can indulge in sunbathing, banana-boat riding, diving, windsurfing and more. White Beach is definitely a must-add to your list of Manila Beaches.

Beaches to Avoid

Avoid the Cavite beaches nearest Manila, such as Lido and Miramar, as these are too rocky for swimming and sunbathing.
